National Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All purchase orders are processed within one hour of receiving the order when placed between standard business hours, 9am to 4pm.

Orders received outside of standard business hours, Monday to Friday will be processed at the beginning of the next business day. We do not operate on weekends or public holidays, orders received on these days will be processed by the next business day.

If the item is 'Out of stock' in your local wareouse but 'In stock' in our national warehouse:

*If you require products delivered by a certain date, please email or call our customer service team to verify product availability and expected delivery date. Federal Batteries does not guarantee at any time a certain delivery date or time frame for delivery for any product or order. Any listed time for a shipping method is an estimate only. For orders with deadlines please order well in advance. Federal Batteries is not responsible for delayed orders as a result of lost, misplaced, delayed shipments or damaged freight by the freight carriers.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation once your order has left our warehouse. If your order is being sent via a third party courier, you will be sent an order tracking number. If you do not receive an order tracking number, your order will be delivered by one of our internal delivery drivers and can expect the order within 24 hours of receiving your shipment confirmation

Damages

Federal Batteries is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact our support team directly to submit a claim. When possible, please photograph the damaged product for evidence that will assist with a product damage claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before submitting a claim.

Returns Policy

The following are based on Federal Batteries Terms and Conditions of Trade. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and a Commercial Agreement, the Commercial Agreement will take preference.

Consumer enquiries regarding returns and refunds should be channelled through the respective place of purchase.

We do not accept returns or make cash refunds for change of mind or where you have ordered incorrect products for the intended vehicle. In the event you have selected products which are inappropriate for the intended vehicle we may choose to credit the amount already paid for those products towards an alternative product of equal or greater value. Federal Batteries at its own discretion may accept non-defective goods for return in which case the buyer is responsible for any costs incurred to freight the goods back to Federal Batteries.

The buyer must inspect the goods on delivery and must within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods notify Federal Batteries in writing of any defect/damage, shortage in quantity or failure to comply with the description of the quote. Upon such notification the buyer must allow Federal Batteries time to inspect the goods.

Returns will only be accepted provided the buyer has a) notified Federal batteries within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods b) Federal batteries has agreed to a return in writing c) the goods are returned within a reasonable timeframe at the buyers cost and d) the good are retuned in as close a condition to that in which they were delivered.

If Federal Batteries is required to replace the goods but is unable to do so, Federal Batteries may refund money equal to the value the buyer has paid for the goods.

Notwithstanding anything contained in this policy, if Federal Batteries is required by law to accept a return then Federal Batteries will only accept a return on the conditions imposed by that law.
